New York is a state that is known for its heavy influence to the hip hop community. Recently we have learned of an artist who is making major noise as an independent artist. We had a chance to catch up with Verne and learn more about his journey to the top.
1. Where are you from?
Brooklyn, New York
2. What inspired you to create music?
I was chosen by music years ago while trying to find myself in this life we live in.
3. Briefly tell about life growing up?
Once I realized I was chosen to create records I spent a majority of my life working on my craft. I worked on writing records and learned the ways of a true “Emcee”. I naturally go hard when it comes to making music.
4. What are you currently promoting?
I have a lot on the way! I’ll be releasing a number of singles during the summer. I’m not a typical artist, the fans genuinely find me.
5. Are there any artists you would like to work with?
Yes, but these particular artist are not in the industry. They are independent artist like myself.
6. What are your plans for the future?
I would like my record label to be the next Motown. My label Planett Hunger is strictly for the artists going hard!
