My name is RENZAUW, I represent all the cities of the world, I am a child of the world, I am from Mauritius
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
I was able to realize the work INK ON YOU, a work inspired by a silhouette of a woman with my tattoos, which is also in the gallery in Paris, I am preparing my first musical project DARK LAND which speaks of my universe of my past and authentic me
What is unique about you and your music?
I have always been true in my story, I have always been sincere in my art, I am authentic, I express my art through my experience and my personality, this is what makes me unique
What shaped your music?
One word “ROCKSTAR” I do what I like, and not what the industry wants, I like latin, afro, disco sounds, I like this universe .
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
I’ve always loved music, little my dad used to make me listen to Elvis Presley, I’ve always loved music, it’s an escape and above all a therapy to fight my old demons
What type of music do you listen to?
My favorite music is KARMA POLICE by RADIOHEAD, I love listening to music that plays on my emotions like. scorpion still loving you, rolling stones – angie, elvis presley – its now never, and serge gainsbourg – je taime moi non plus
What inspires you to write music?
My inspiration comes mainly from the trials of life, from the bad times, like the best, from my sadness, and from my joy, I compose what I feel at the present moment
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
I like to spend time doing yoga, discovering and cultivating myself, traveling and discovering new things, praying to God for all that gives me today, spending time with my half, and my animals, and above all taking stock with myself for my well being
Happiness to you is…
Happiness and a feeling that I have been looking for all my life, that I have tried to fill with a lot of things, whether bad or good, but today I find them happiness and I try every day to conquer it, with things simple, with love and health, and being able to do what I love and have the people I love by my side
