Name is Cardi A the A stands for Alien. Cardi A is my real government Birth name too. Illinois from a very small town outside of Chicago call Leesville but we call it the Ville or the village. But Illinois for sure
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
I’m an all around type of artist I literally can do any type of music. But with my music out I just like being myself and doing things different n fresh. I get inspired by the fact no one’s know what to expect from me n they ain’t seen or heard nothing yet
What is unique about you and your music?
What’s unique about my music is I bring real talents I rap sing and produce. My vibe is completely different and I’m fine with peoples critiques because I don’t follow after any other artist blueprints. I’m dope and the entire world is about to find out who Cardi A is. A boy from nowhere that will take over
What shaped your music?
What shaped my music is, I come from a musically inclined family where I saw my mom and Dad chase this music dream brother and sisters chase this music dream. So I was a student to the Game where I’ve always felt that it was who I was supposed to be.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
I’ve always known but there a difference between knowing and actually having the means to lead the success of making it happen. And I come from a place where opportunity doesn’t exist. So thru hardwork and by the grace of God I know it’s no turning back.
What type of music do you listen to?
I listen to Hip Hop, RnB , Dusties
What inspires you to write music?
I find inspiration from whatever on my heart. I have to find something unique to my personal experience with music. And I don’t like to sound like no one else that’s key 🔑 for when I write I’ve always stood out.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
What I like to do when I’m not doing music. Family! I have a very large family so keeping up with my people helps me thru adversaries. Also fun activities laughter. Most importantly being a Father to my children supporting them and guiding them in this life

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
What I wish I was told when I first started making music was it’s okay be yourself and original. Stay away from other people style and blueprints build your own overall sound don’t be afraid what people think stay away from local opinions grow outside your environment

Upcoming projects is to really showcase how talented and versatile of an artist I am. An just no real music will come back with an artist like Cardi A. I have plenty new songs about to release
