Drake’s Mysterious ‘FOMO’ Project Looks Set to Arrive in 2026

Drake is keeping the mystery around “FOMO” alive, but a newly circulated handwritten message appears to reinforce one detail: whatever he is teasing is intended for 2026.

Speculation around a Drake FOMO project picked up again after a handwritten note attributed to the Toronto star began circulating online. The message reportedly ends with “ICE. 2026 FOMO,” adding another 2026 reference to a rollout that Drake has kept deliberately vague.

The clue follows Drake’s recent social-media campaign around the phrase “Fear of Missing Out.” As Complex reported, he shared an image of a CD jewel case bearing the words “FEAR OF MISSING OUT” after previously posting family throwbacks captioned “FOMO 2026.” Neither Drake nor his team has officially identified FOMO as an album or announced a specific release date.

That distinction remains important as the hints continue. If FOMO does turn out to be another full-length release, it would extend an unusually busy year for Drake. In May, he released Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour, with the three projects arriving together and giving fans a large batch of new material at once. More recently, he has also started bringing that music to the stage, including performing Iceman songs live at Don Toliver’s Toronto show.

Drake has offered other signs that his 2026 run may not be finished. Earlier in August, he warned during a stream that his “pen isn’t dry”, while the repeated FOMO branding has continued to surface without a formal announcement explaining its format, tracklist or rollout.

For now, the safest takeaway is that 2026 appears to be the intended window for FOMO, rather than a confirmed day or month. Until Drake, OVO or Republic Records supplies a firm date and identifies exactly what “Fear of Missing Out” is, the latest clue adds momentum to the mystery without settling it.
