Drake and Don Toliver linked up twice inside Fear of Missing Out, with the film premiering an untitled collaboration and a reworked take on Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas.”
Drake used his September 15 FOMO premiere to unveil two unreleased songs featuring Don Toliver. The hour-long film mixed new material with visuals for previously released records, giving the pair’s collaborations their first public showcase without announcing standalone release dates.
One of the songs is an untitled melodic collaboration built around the two artists’ vocals. The second brings Toliver into Drake’s slowed-down reworking of Ella Langley’s chart-topping “Choosin’ Texas,” a version Drake had already teased during the FOMO rollout before the film arrived.
The previews extend a connection that had already moved into the spotlight weeks earlier. Drake made a surprise appearance during Toliver’s Toronto concert on August 30, where he performed songs from Iceman live for the first time and thanked Toliver for helping keep the city’s live music energy moving.
Fear of Missing Out also introduced other unreleased music, including a new collaboration with Yeat, while combining scenes shot across Drake’s summer with videos tied to his recent releases. The film followed months of speculation around the FOMO name and arrived after Drake described the project as a self-funded visual built around making the most of a single summer.
Neither Don Toliver collaboration has been given an official title or release date beyond the “Choosin’ Texas” connection. The FOMO film premiered on Drake’s YouTube channel before the stream was later set to private, leaving the new songs as previews for now rather than separately released singles.
