Drake Responds To Being Booed At Camp Flog Gnaw

Drake had a rough night this weekend when he came out as a surprise performer at Tyler The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival, and booed off stage when the crowd realized Frank Ocean will not be making an appearance.

Despite the incident, Drake is not letting it get to him. According to DJ Akademiks, he is “taking it in stride” and called it a “moment of humility which is always welcomed.” Added Drake, “[It] was just not my night. Wasn’t who they wanted to see.”

Tyler, the Creator responded to the fans on the Twitter, scolding them for their reaction to his performance. “I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE FUCKING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE!” he tweeted. “BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW. SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE ASSHOLES WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT FUCK WITH THAT.”

Added Tyler, “THAT SHIT WAS LIKE MOB MENTALITY AND CANCEL CULTURE IN REAL LIFE AND I THINK THAT SHIT IS FUCKING TRASH.”

Drake then joined in the fun, and finally reacted to being booed off of his set by doing a little trolling himself. “Plot twist…just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30.”
