Los Angeles based hip hop artist Datboicelli recently dropped his first project called ‘HIGH BEAMS AT NIGHT’. The 10-track project showcased a multitude of different sonically unique aspects but the track we are highlighting today is ‘Blessings’.
As the first song on the project, ‘Blessings’ offers energy right from the start. Datboicelli uses his smooth melodic vocals and carefully planned cadences to get his point across. Datboicelli explains how he’s been feeling blessed and in his bag lately, only looking to push his career forward.
The track, lasting just under 3 minutes in length, features new age production, heavy set 808s, and a punchy drum line. It’s a good listen for anyone looking to get a pump from their music and has a solid message within.
While the artist has yet to release anything new since his last project, he did mention that he has been working hard on new material.
