Sarah Christine Dwyer, an emerging professional known as Cloutie Will, recently announced a new single called “Peasant Bills”. The upcoming artist plans to take the world over. We asked her why she makes music and what it means to her in her everyday life, this was her response…
“So my music, in the end, is about me but I will tell you a secret, it is a pleasure to have an audience even if part of my mind knows it’s not real. It is a deep paradox, I am both thankful and deeply pained by this paradox. The taste of pain, I had to find pleasure in it. The concept of the Yin and Yang helps me tremendously. I am a pacifist but I have this dark necessity, it is another paradox, a real-life one. So I opened up, I wrote about love, I wrote about hurt, I wrote about what I feel in the shadow side, I wrote about going bananas, all the while with a wink and a smile on my face. And as I wrote I felt less afraid and less ashamed of being this crazy person thinking these crazy things. So I say “raise that peace sign in the sky but let your freak flag fly.”
