Catching Up With Cali’s AKATRACCS

California is a state known for its huge contribution to the hip hop community. “Cali” has legendary artists and more recently new comers like AKATRACCS. Born in Washington, DC on December 9, 1996, TRACCS bounced around states until he turned five and his family settled in Long Beach, CA. It was here where he was raised.

Growing up in Long Beach was an experience like no other; AKATRACCS had to grow up fast in the community he lived in. Throughout his childhood and adulthood, AKATRACCS has had numerous run ins with law enforcement. TRACCS ultimately spent a cumulative amount of almost 5 years in state prison. AKATRACCS started his music career as a dj / producer for upcoming artist Dolphin Splash. It want until his last incarceration that he wrote his single “HOODRICH” in 2018.

After the release of “HOODRICH”, TRACCS’ singing / rapping career was born. TRACCS is the father of three daughters which brings a lot of inspiration and motivation into his music. Currently TRACCS is pushing his latest single “Jordan”, this song features a hard hitting beat with a catchy hook. Follow TRACCS on Instagram at @akatraccs.
