Boyz II Men are bringing their vocal harmonies to a country project through a new agreement with Warner Records Nashville.
Boyz II Men’s next chapter will take them to Nashville, with a country project planned for 2027. Warner Records Nashville announced the signing on October 26, placing Nathan Morris, Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman on its roster.
The announcement presents the move as an extension of the trio’s musical interests rather than a departure from singing together. The group cited country’s storytelling and emotional directness, with Randy Travis among the artists whose work helped establish that connection.
The upcoming project is scheduled for 2027, although the label has not supplied a title or exact release date. That leaves the announcement focused on the partnership and musical direction, rather than a finished tracklist or a fully detailed album campaign.
Boyz II Men have already worked alongside country performers, including Lady A on “I Love the One.” Their previous appearances also include a 2019 CMT collaboration with Brett Young and work with the Steep Canyon Rangers on “Be Still Moses,” giving this new agreement a history beyond a single announcement.
The group’s catalog has also moved through reinterpretation and collaboration, including 2017’s Under the Streetlight. That release featured contributors such as Brian McKnight, Take 6 and Amber Riley, underlining how guest voices and familiar songs have remained part of their recording approach.
With Warner Records Nashville now behind the next project, the trio has a country-focused home for this phase of its career. The details still to come will show how its signature vocal blend fits the new material, but the destination and intended release year are now official.
