Benny The Butcher returns with a new Black Soprano Family single as the crew prepares to release A Friend Of Ours 2.
Benny The Butcher is setting up his next chapter with “Elevate,” released October 30 alongside an official video. The record carries joint billing with Black Soprano Family and introduces the next project under that banner.
Produced by Moose Tarantino, the single places Benny’s own story at its center. Stereogum describes his verses as a frank look at moving into and back out of the major-label system, balancing financial progress against the dangers that have followed him.
The production gives that reflection a larger frame, combining synth-driven drama with a heavy Southern-rap influence. Rather than treating success as the end of the story, the track’s focus is the distance between gaining ground and feeling completely clear of the past.
The accompanying video appears on BennyTheButcherVEVO, with the official description directing listeners to both the single and the forthcoming project. That presentation ties “Elevate” directly to the Black Soprano Family rollout instead of leaving it as an isolated release.
A Friend Of Ours 2 is scheduled for November 13 through Perfect Time Music Group. Its title returns to a series Benny began in 2018, giving the new single a place within his longer catalog as well as his current work with BSF.
“Elevate” also follows “Summer ’26,” his earlier Harry Fraud collaboration. With a different producer and a new project approaching, the latest release shifts attention from that seasonal standalone record to the next Black Soprano Family collection.
