Aubrey O’Day Says She Escaped Disturbing Diddy-Connected Gathering After Bodyguard Restrained Her

Aubrey O’Day says a gathering connected to Sean “Diddy” Combs took a frightening turn when a bodyguard allegedly held her in place as she witnessed something she believed was meant to test whether she would participate.

Aubrey O’Day is sharing another unsettling account from her years around Sean “Diddy” Combs, describing an incident in which she says she ultimately fled a private gathering. During a recent appearance on the Creators Inc. podcast, the former Danity Kane singer said the event gradually became more exclusive as people were asked to leave.

O’Day was careful not to definitively describe the gathering as one of the so-called “freakoffs” discussed during Combs’ federal case. She said what she learned from evidence presented in court gave her a different understanding of what those encounters allegedly involved, while the event she attended appeared to unfold differently.

According to Complex, O’Day alleged that a bodyguard pulled her outside and forced her to watch something she believed was intended to gauge whether she would take part. “I saw something that I believe I was meant to see ’cause he was staring in my eyes the whole time while it was happening,” she said, adding, “I think it was like a point where he was trying to see if I was going to be down.”

O’Day said the bodyguard had his hands on her shoulders until a friend’s knock at a nearby door briefly loosened his grip. “The bodyguard’s hand got a little loose ’cause they were on my shoulders, and I got out,” she recalled.

She said her friend remembers her running into another room “crying, screaming, freaking out” before the pair left the gathering. O’Day’s latest account follows years of public comments about her experiences around Combs and her time in Danity Kane, the group formed through MTV’s Making the Band 3 and signed to Bad Boy Records.

The claims also arrive after Combs’ federal criminal case, in which he was convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution while being acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. Combs has denied allegations of sexual assault and abuse, and a spokesperson previously said he “categorically denies” allegations raised by O’Day and “has never sexually assaulted anyone.”
