“Aquaman” Gets Early Release For Amazon Prime Members

Aquaman

Amazon Prime with the hook up.

Aquaman swims into theaters next month, and DC Comics is doing everything they can to push the film. Director James Wan’s vision for the film has received rave reviews, with those who were blessed to see it early comparing it to a phase one Marvel film.

Aquaman has long been a joke among the superhero ranks, and his ability to speak with fish has been ridiculed for years. Warner Bros. flipped that loser reputation into one of a relatable “bro” with Jason Momoa, and surrounded him with an all-star cast featuring Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Amazon Prime members will be able to catch Aquaman in theaters early. As reported by ScreenRant, Aquaman will get a late release in the US, with several countries premiering the movie a week in advance.

US fans can catch the movie on December 21, but Amazon Prime subscribers get a chance to see the film 5 days in advance on December 15. The early release will only be at participating theaters.

Regal Cinemas, Cinepolis, Bow Tie Cinemas, ArcLight, Showcase Cinemas, and Studio Movie Grill are included in the event, but AMC Theatres and Cinemark Theaters (the first and third biggest theaters in the US, respectively) will not take part.
