Tory Lanez Name Drops Megan Thee Stallion on ‘Verdict Day’ Song From New Album ‘PETERSON’

Tory Lanez, the rapper-singer currently in prison and often in midst of controversy, has recently name dropped Megan Thee Stallion on his track ‘Verdict Day x Lawyer Fees Interlude.’ The song came out as part of Tory’s latest album, PETERSON, which was recorded entirely in prison.

On the track, Tory talks about trial day and his trial lawyer, also accusing them of being in cahoots with the opposition like wedding vows.

Things get even more intense towards the end when he raps, “Y’all had my lawyer in y’all pocket, she circling T’s/ And that’s why Megan always talked like jail was certain for me/ It’s ’cause y’all paid for them ten years, let’s keep it honest/ My judge sittin’ at the brunch like a plebicolist
And y’all was seein’ outcomes and he was seein’ dollars.”

Now, these would be some serious allegations, as Tory seems to allude to an unfair and rigged trial.

He goes in even more detail, and speaks candidly about having his suspicions regarding his lawyer, but that he initially ignored his instincts as the lawyer was a Black woman. Now, the question is if this entire thing will become a public trial — and it might, if Megan chooses to respond. What are your thoughts?
