Everyone who’s ever witnessed Justin Nunn on the football field has the same thing to say; the kid is amazing! After winning two Juco championships, Justin battled injuries and he would eventually make stops at UCF and VUL. During this time Justin also faced some academic challenges, according to him “During this time I learned a lot about myself and it made me stronger on and off the field.” Now he’s back in beast mode!
Justin was originally a commit to FSU under Jimbo Fisher. However, Justin was a non qualifier and had to attend junior college. During his first semester in Juco, Nunn was involved in a fatal car accident suffering several injuries. This incident led to him transferring to a smaller junior college and playing limited snaps, while still hurt. He would go on to win a conference championship at North Florida, following this season he transferred to Birmingham JC where he would help his team win a national championship! This performance led to Justin transferring to UCF the next season, however he sat out due to institutional mistakes from his stint with VUL.
This was bad news for Nunn because he was just getting the chance to really show what he was capable of on the highest level. Later that season Justin would meet a conference waiver rule to enroll at MDA JUCO and help lead them to a conference championship and a quarterfinal championship as both a quarterback and tight end. In 2023 Justin would enroll at Alabama A&M; a school that recruited Justin while he was still in junior college. However this situation would come to a halt due to a housing issue at the institution.
Justin will have all fours years of eligibility remaining with the new juco ruling , and have a waiver option from 2021 and 2023 to be immediately eligible. Justin Nunn is nothing short of a superstar; he’s quick, strong and smart. He plays both sides of the field and he naturally is a dominator!
