Anisa “Ace” Turner, known to many as Ace the Manager, is carving her path to success in the music industry, rooted in her Virginia origins. Stepping into the scene in 2022, Ace initially ventured into management by guiding her friend, Splash Bandikoot, from Richmond, VA. Throughout the year, she has built an extensive network and a formidable presence on Instagram, attracting artists seeking her guidance, assistance, and interviews for her platform, On the Rocks With Ace.
Ace‘s influence transcends industry boundaries, earning her respect not only in professional circles but also in the streets. Artists from correctional facilities reach out to express gratitude for her inspirational impact. When asked about her motivation for pursuing management, Ace‘s response reflects her deep-seated passion: “I love music. I’ve been behind the scenes for years. I started promoting in high school for Go-Go bands and some artists in the DMV. I love helping people.”
In her inaugural year, Ace made a significant mark by joining Fatt Macc‘s management team, signed to Atlantic Records at the time. She orchestrated the iconic Animal freestyle for Macc in Houston, a move that propelled her career forward. Despite her relatively short time in the industry, Ace boasts an impressive resume, collaborating with esteemed artists such as TreDavinci, Big Slixc, EST artist Selfpaid Savage, and Dave East. Additionally, she contributed to the A&R process for Sleazy World Go’s upcoming album.
Currently, Ace is a pivotal member of 4Lanes Management, working alongside Bam, managing artists including QC’s Ed Dolo and Waddie Guapo, signed to 10kprojects & Warner. In addition to her management roles, Ace established the Umbrella Agency, a marketing powerhouse founded by her partner, Ghost. She maintains close partnerships with labels and distribution platforms such as QC, Universal, 10kprojects, Warner, and Virgin Music.
