Christopher Jelani Hayes better known as Jelani Kay is an American musician pursuing his passion in the melodic hiphop industry. Growing up he had a thing for music, in elementary school everyone would want to just hear him rap. He didn’t hesitate to show everyone how talented he was, and the stuck with him all these years.
Jelani Kay makes his music different than any other artist in the industry. He provides his own unique and creative style to the LA rap game, although he likes LA rap, he believes his is more than just rap. Reaching over 80 countries, his music is getting globally heard, and he’s connecting with some of the biggest in the music game. Jelani has worked with some of the best LA and IE producers, and managers. The knowledge these people gave him is worth more than what he’s made of his music, and Jelani keeps going.
His future is looking great, making more hits and staying humble is some of what he’s got planned. Music is releasing soon with his long time friend and ex label mate, RadioBase. He’s currently promoting “Fuck What You Heard” hosted by Chris King on behalf of SNOTTYNOSERECORDS, and it’s surely something for everyone to check out.
