Jp Vlado, short for Jetpack Vlado. Jetpack Nation record label. @Jp_Vlado all my socials. Im an Independent artist. I’m from Pleasantville, New Jersey. South Side to be exact.
Why do you love music?
I love music because I feel like it’s apart of me. Music helped get me through alot of hard times. I started music freestyling with the guys. I was always good at it. I was always good with the crowd. I always felt comfortable in the spotlight. So to me, music was just another way to express myself. It felt like home
What makes you different as a music artist?
I’m really just another King creating and speaking for my people. My music is my way of motivating and speaking for those who don’t have voices. I speak for my people. So you get a bit of everything. You get hunger, you get pain, you get betrayal, you get street, you get art. I speak for the many stars we had in new jersey that never made it because they lives got cut short or they couldn’t handle the pressure. It’s natural for me to be different and bring different. I’m a different breed for real. So you get different. I might go LL, I might go Mac Dre. I just feel the beat, create and keep it real with my listeners.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I see myself making money off my music and fashion. I see myself bring influence. I see myself putting my family in position. Having all my guys iced up with me. Turning my camp into a mansion. Retiring ma dukes. You know just bringing necessary change to the game.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
I’m just here to fulfill my calling. I impact and change lives. That’s what I want and will accomplish with or without fame. My success isn’t based on fame or money, my accomplishments come down to how real I am while I’m here.
What do you bring to the music world?
I bring pure energy. I bring high energy. I bring insane wordplay. I can go bar for bar with anybody if you ask me. I show it in my lyrics but also my flow. I can give you this then I can give you that I keep you on your toes. I speak for the threnches. I bring real if there ain’t any out here. I just try to keep it 100% me. Fire beats. Accepting fire beats, my email [email protected]. Most importantly I don’t want to be nobody. I don’t want to sound like nobody. I don’t even want to be compared to anybody for real. But I do know what comes with the game. I do know all the criticism and gimmick follow. I been preparing for it. I lived these life lessons before and I can accept all that’s coming my way . It’s no sweat in my game or knock hole in my boat bout it. I bring New Jersey. Fire fashion and lyrics to match, that’s like the jewelry.
What do you want to be remembered by?
My originally. Just being a vessel for greater and better. But also a stamp that can’t be touched. My art should carry me after it’s all said and done. I could care less about opinions and views. If you ask my team I been great, I been a star. The world just ain’t notice. I feel that. We been supposed to be there but as long as we get there we not tripping. You can’t stop somebody that knows where they goes if they get there no matter what step they take you know ? I just feel it was all written.
