Blanco Balling, The Bay Area’s newest rap act has officially graduated from being the King of The Underground to simply being the king! Although created out of emotion, the Nicaraguan-born rapper releases new album KYNG BLANCO as he reflects on persevering through hardships, rising above all odds bet against him, and believing in hisself. Priding himself on staying true to his roots, being bi-lingual and having a strong sense of confidence; Blanco Balling is the Latin rapper the industry never knew they needed.
“Making this album was very personal for me. While created out of emotion, I wanted to make a point. I’m not your typical “latin” rapper or the picture the industry paints of a “latin” rapper. I’m diverse .. I’m well-rounded and I’m excited to express that to my listeners. Staying true to myself is what will not only get me far, but my music will stick!” – Blanco on making KYNG BLANCO album
With the passing of his brother, Blanco was inspired to hone in on perfecting his craft as a rapper. Having complete tunnel vision as he worked on this new album, Balling reached a new peak lyrically. While this new lyrical peak can be heard throughout the album, listeners get to fully experience Blanco‘s lyrical growth on leading single “Lil Vietnam” featuring Kap G.
Not allowing any limitations to be placed on him as a Latin artist, Blanco Balling is proudly breaking down barriers and any stigma placed on artists like him.
