Superstar, singer, and songwriter Gio Franklin is one such talent who chased his passion in the face of all odds to turn his dreams into reality. This good-looking talent took the music industry by storm with his debut release in 2019. He is now all set to rock the industry again with his upcoming release.
Gio Franklin grew up in Kansas City, MO. he was extremely good at sports in school. He even received a bunch of accolades in football when he was in high school. It was during this time that a major injury changed his life forever. He tore his ACL just before the beginning of football season. The injury was so serious that Gio was left with no other option but to quit sports. Things started falling into place when he realized his calling for music at the age of 15. He discovered his growing interest in all music genres and knew this was what he would do for the rest of his life.
He took a break from school to pursue his career in the music industry. Carving a niche for himself in an industry that is saturated with fresh talent was not easy for Gio, but he has aced it with confidence. In June 2019, Gio Franklin released his debut music album G STAR, which became a success almost overnight. The album was well-received in Gio’s hometown of Kansa, earning him a crazy fan following on social media. The response gave him the much-needed boost to further pursue his career in music.
Gio moved to Los Angeles to chase his dreams. He made valuable connections and earned loads of appreciation from prominent artists and influencers, including the gaming and esports organization FaZe Clan. The newfound recognition eventually led him to another opportunity to showcase his talent. Gio was signed to be a part of a tour with artists GASHI and Tinashe. Unfortunately, the tour was canceled to the pandemic but became a huge motivation for Gio to continue rising in the music industry.
He soon met Adam Quinn, the CEO of The Apex Agency, who took Gio under his wing and helped him navigate the industry to scale his career. Gio launched a record label under The Apex Agency. Since then, his bond with Adam Quinn and the agency grew stronger, resulting in new business ventures together. Gio will be next seen in the recently launched Apex Records by Adam Quinn, performing with other A-list artists.
To replicate the success of his debut album G STAR, Gio launched his next album, G STAR 2, in 2021. The album marks his versatility and uniqueness as an artist. Gio doesn’t stick to a single genre to showcase his talent. He has mastered it all. From hip-hop to country music and R & B, Gio has a unique style and sound for each of them to keep his fans engaged and craving for more.
Gio is currently focused on another big project with vocal coach Nick Cooper. He is optimistic about it and believes this will enthrall his audiences like never before.
