Dwyane Wade has reportedly signed a multi-year deal with TNT as part of the network’s revamped NBA coverage crew. Wade also drew interest from Disney/ESPN for his services.
He will join his former teammate Shaquille O’Neal as part of the coverage team along with Stan Van Gundy, Jimmy Jackson, Candace Parker, and Steve Nash.
The move comes after TNT overhauled its Tuesday night programming, scrapping its “Players Only” broadcasts.

In addition to his NBA commentary, Wade will also provide in-studio analysis during the NCAA Final Four and contribute to special projects for Bleacher Report.
“I have great respect for TNT’s team of analysts and their long-standing commitment to quality sports coverage,” Wade said, per the Washington Post. “After sixteen seasons in the NBA, I look forward to connecting with my fans in this new role and bringing my own perspective to the game I love.”
The Future Hall of Famer made his debut with Turner on its coverage of the NBA’s opening night Tuesday.
