With a follow-up to last year’s Swaecation on the horizon, Swae Lee is ready to kick off the campaign with a couple new singles. The Rae Sremmurd member is back with his new song “Won’t Be Late” featuring Drake which is produced by Tekno Miles.
“Won’t Be Late,” which was first previewed during Virgil Abloh’s set at Coachella in April, arrives just in time for summer. The Tekno Miles-produced track finds Swae and Drake crooning over a hypnotic island rhythm. “Saving my time for you / Suddenly I freed up,” sings Drizzy. “Freezing my times with you / When I’m lonely I can bring them up.”
Next up, Swae will hit the road with Post Malone on the “Runaway Tour.” The North American arena trek kicks off Sept. 14 in Tacoma, Wash.
