Juvenile’s October 21 Minneapolis concert has been canceled, with First Avenue confirming refunds and no replacement date after earlier postponements.
Juvenile will not play his scheduled October 21 show at First Avenue in Minneapolis. The Juvenile Minneapolis concert cancellation, reported by Bring Me The News on October 17, is confirmed on the venue’s official event page, which now marks the performance as canceled rather than postponed.
For fans, the distinction matters: there is no rescheduled date. First Avenue says tickets bought online or by phone through AXS will be refunded automatically to the original payment card within 30 business days. Purchases made through another outlet should be taken back to that original seller, and the venue directs additional ticketing questions to AXS support.
The cancellation follows earlier changes to the Minneapolis booking, including an August 9 date that was moved to October 21. The First Avenue listing still contains older rescheduling language beneath its cancellation announcement, so ticket holders should follow the current notice at the top rather than the previous instructions to retain tickets for entry.
The show had been billed as the “Boiling Point” Album Release Tour, presented by Carbon Sound with The 400 Degreez Band & Friends. That title links the booking to Juvenile’s recent music, rather than a standalone anniversary appearance; the accompanying official audio comes from the album and is included as musical context, not as a statement about the cancellation.
Bring Me The News reported that Juvenile had not offered an explanation and that representatives had not immediately answered its request for comment. No reason is given in First Avenue’s cancellation notice either, leaving no verified basis to attribute the decision to health, travel, production or another cause.
The local report also notes that other tour dates remain listed, so this update should not be read as an announcement that the entire tour has ended. For Minneapolis fans, the confirmed outcome is narrower but clear: the October 21 performance is off, refund arrangements are in place, and any future return will require a separate announcement.
