Kai Cenat has taken VIVET from a behind-the-scenes fashion project to a full runway debut, unveiling Collection 1 in New York and making the line available to shop immediately.
Kai Cenat officially introduced VIVET Collection 1 with the label’s first runway presentation in New York on September 12. The show arrived during New York Fashion Week and was broadcast online, giving Cenat’s massive streaming audience a direct look at the fashion project he spent much of the past year developing.
The debut drew a mix of music, fashion and streaming figures, with Lauryn Hill, DDG, Karrahbooo, PlaqueBoyMax and members of AMP among the attendees. Complex reported that Duke Dennis walked in the show alongside Raysian Boy, Marlon, Giovanna Ramos, Alton Mason, BruceDropEmOff and Siebe, turning the presentation into a crossover moment between Cenat’s internet world and the fashion industry.
The collection stretches well beyond traditional creator merchandise. VIVET’s official store currently lists 20 products across apparel, footwear and accessories, including the Beginner Hoodie, Beginner Sweatpant, Cargo Jacket, Slim Fit Leather Pants, Electrician Boot, Monogram Loafer and a Streaming Backpack. The assortment moves between relaxed everyday pieces and more expensive leather and outerwear designs, giving the first collection a noticeably broader scope than a standard logo-driven drop.
Cenat has said the project was built through months of learning fashion from the ground up. In a recent New York Times interview, he described spending time in factories, speaking directly with manufacturers and studying materials, while also explaining that parts of the debut collection draw from his family background, including his mother’s Trinidadian heritage. He also said he owns VIVET outright, underscoring how personally invested he is in the label’s direction.
VIVET is also using a see-now-buy-now approach rather than asking viewers to wait months for runway pieces to reach stores. The current lineup ranges from a $20 VIVET Journal and $140 Beginner Sweatpants to a $550 Streaming Backpack, $995 Slim Fit Leather Pants and a $1,195 Raglan Zip Up Jacket, with Cenat telling The New York Times that he wanted both accessible and higher-tier pieces for different parts of his audience.
The launch gives Cenat another major platform outside livestreaming while connecting his existing community directly to fashion. Collection 1 is now available through VIVET’s official store, marking the first full commercial chapter for a brand Cenat has spent months documenting, studying and building in public.
