Puka Nacua’s Ex Alleges Abuse as NFL Continues Review of Rams Star

Hallie Aiono says she endured betrayal, abuse and neglect during a painful stretch of her relationship with Puka Nacua, adding new scrutiny while the NFL continues reviewing the Rams receiver’s conduct.

Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua is facing new allegations from his former girlfriend Hallie Aiono as the NFL weighs his off-field situation ahead of the 2026 season. According to Pro Football Network, Aiono discussed what she described as “extreme betrayal, abuse, complete neglect” during a TikTok video about the last year and a half of her life.

Aiono said she went from loving someone deeply for four years to experiencing those conditions in what felt like an overnight change. She did not name Nacua in the quoted portion of the video, but PFN identified the comments as referring to their relationship, which began in 2021 while Nacua was at BYU and continued into his NFL career.

Aiono also said public developments affected her mental health, while what happened privately was even more damaging. “Those parts that people never saw or know of are what broke me,” she said, describing a period she said altered her mental state and left her focused on healing.

The former couple share a son, Kingston, who was born in October 2025. Aiono had filed a petition months earlier seeking to establish Nacua’s paternity along with custody rights and financial support, bringing parts of their relationship into public view before her latest comments.

The allegations arrive while Nacua is already under league scrutiny over separate off-field matters. The Rams receiver is facing a civil lawsuit alleging assault, battery, gender violence and negligence stemming from a December 2025 incident in which a woman accused him of making an antisemitic statement and biting her; Nacua’s attorney has denied the antisemitic allegation and characterized the biting as “horseplay.” The case remains a civil matter, and the new claims from Aiono are allegations.

For the Rams, the timing adds uncertainty as the team prepares for a season with major expectations and Nacua enters the final year of his rookie contract. The NFL has continued reviewing his situation, and no suspension had been announced as of September 2; any league decision could affect both Los Angeles’ early-season plans and the future of one of football’s most productive receivers.
