PG County, Md. — From making TikToks in his bedroom to charting on Billboard, rising artist and influencer Kevo Jefé is proving that hard work and authenticity can turn dreams into reality.
Hailing from Prince George’s County, Jefé is bringing a raw, unfiltered voice straight from the heart of the DMV—something the music industry hasn’t seen enough of. His sound blends street wisdom, melodic hooks, and emotional honesty, delivering tracks that capture both pain and ambition while still radiating high-energy vibes.
“I went from making TikToks in my bed to Billboard,” Jefé said. “What separates me is my ability to be versatile without losing authenticity. I’m not trying to copy anyone—I’m carving my own wave and repping the DMV with pride.”
That wave is already making noise. Jefé made history when his very first single hit No. 16 on the Billboard Top 50, while also reaching No. 12 on TikTok’s Viral chart. More than 500,000 TikToks have been made with his breakout track—including posts from celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, Paris Hilton, Lizzo, and Normani.
Jefé’s visuals are just as distinctive. His music videos lean into a gritty, low-budget style that reflects his lyrics and his roots, standing in contrast to polished mainstream pop aesthetics. Known for being outspoken and unapologetic both in his music and online, he represents an anti-mainstream edge that keeps fans engaged.
Still, the grind comes with challenges. “It’s all mental,” he admitted. “If I’m not in the right headspace to create, I can get stagnant. And sometimes it hurts when I feel like I’m not being heard. But hurt feelings won’t bring me to the top—I have to keep building. I only have five songs out, but I’m still pushing forward.”
Looking ahead, Jefé envisions awards, three full albums, and a strong, loyal fanbase. His goals include charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and expanding his performance catalog. “I love giving out visuals,” he said. “I can’t wait to do more performances and bring my lyrics to life on stage.”
Fans won’t have to wait long for new music. His latest music video, “Go So Hard,” drops Sept. 26, followed by his new single, “Pretty Boy,” arriving in October 2025.
Dream collaborations are also on his radar: Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, SZA, Doechii, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z.
