Atlanta duo EarthGang taps Young Thug for their newest single “Proud of U,” a cut off their highly-anticipated debut studio album MirrorLand. The LP will be released via J. Cole’s Dreamville label sometime this year.
Kicking things off with his melodic and soulful presence, Venus takes to the up-tempo instrumental with an infectious refrain.
Thugger steps up next, spitting bars in celebration of his love interest, once again reiterating his deadly combination of “cadence and nice teeth.”
As Dot’s verse approaches, Venus lays down a beat-switch, opting for a more overtly percussive direction. 808s are the backdrop as Dot goes off, his technical prowess and slippery flow making for a uniquely intriguing combination.
