YBN Cordae Drops Off First Banger Of The Year With “Locationships” the S1 produced “Locationships.” When asked about the song’s inception on Beats 1, Cordae revealed an interesting bit of inspiration that ultimately prompted the opening lines.
“I was in the studio with S1, and he made it,” explains Cordae, to Zane Lowe. “I just left from this trick’s house I was at, and then I started it off, like, “I got the spoiled LA girl, she from Chino Hills.
“I would literally drive her dad’s Bentley and shit. You know what I’m saying? So, I just started going off that and just telling different stories and shit.”
