Born Marquavious Bohannon on July 21, 2003, in Atlanta, Huncho was raised in a household where music was a constant. His parents fed him the sounds of real R&B and soul—legends like Mint Condition and Erykah Badu. That soulful foundation stayed with him, but as he grew, he gravitated toward the raw energy of Chris Brown, Future, and Lil Wayne—artists who helped shape the lane he’s now carving out.
He dropped his first official single, “Pain In My Cup,” in 2021. It wasn’t just a track—it was a reflection. A record rooted in struggle, loss, and healing that resonated with listeners online and began to build his buzz. But Huncho knew the next level required growth, and that meant rebranding.
