Young Buck Arrested on Felony Warrant Before Christmas

Young Buck didn’t get to enjoy the holidays like the rest of us, and it’s all because of his latest legal issue. the rapper was picked up in Tennessee on a felony fugitive from justice warrant for child abandonment on Dec. 20.

According to Nashville’s Fox 17, the “Foofy” rapper was pulled over by police for talking on his cell phone while driving. The officer asked Young Buck about marijuana being in his truck after smelling it when his window was rolled down.

Young Buck reportedly handed the officer a rolled joint and told him it was his. Upon inspection of the vehicle, officers found three grams of marijuana, which he is not being charged for because police say he was possibly being extradited to Georgia and “very cooperative.”

The Nashville-bred rapper will remain in prison until his scheduled court date, which is slated for May 7, 2020, because he is not eligible for bond as he’s considered a felony fugitive from justice.

Buck was previously arrested in 2016 after he reportedly kicked in the front door of his ex-girlfriend’s Nashville apartment and threatened to burn it down. He was sentenced to 7 months in prison and had also admitted to violating the conditions of his supervised release and probation in two federal cases.

Earlier this month, he joined forces with Billy Ray Cyrus for a holiday themed song ‘Blue Christmas‘.
