Tell us about you:
Well I grew up in music, drumming for going on 15 years. I have always loved entertaining people and making them happy or simply feel something. I grew up in so many different areas but the ones I was in longest have always had me with my back to the walls-the odd one out. I seemed to find ways out and that really showed up in recent years. Finding SAE institute of Technology Nashville has allowed me to learn the necessary skills to professionally take control of my music. I went from recording on Tully or BandLab from apple head phones-to producing my beats in FL studio and recording in protools off good microphones. I’m now able to work with many amazing artist networking with people I had heard about and never imagined would be so close to me now.
Over the years money has always been an issue, especially having to leave my mothers home to live 4 hours away in a new city. I have had to get past losing friends and obtaining some pretty bad ones. Some of the biggest strides I’ve made have been financially. From moving out on my own to starting up my own business. All from networking and getting the studio gear to produce how I want too.
I bring a sound that is so old and raw that it’s new. My production is not formulated to fit general it is made to uniquely build music with others that no one else is doing. You can’t copy my style because that’d require me to be In one place. I move to always be different and flexible to work with. I push myself and those around me-if you want me to hype you up if you suck-I will not. Raw truth is what keeps good music going and stops people from throwing anything into the ring. I believe this to be the best way to produce music.
Make that call-take that risk-say that thing you don’t think you should. Be the elephant in the room that roars like a lion. Do it all by being yourself-never compromise what makes you happy. Life is to short to struggle for the bills-make the most of it-and do it with a smile.
It means you can wake up in the morning happy with minimal to no worries. Means my concerns are more on did I get gas? What’s for lunch? And less of will I be able to pay my bills, or struggle to do that while people yell at me for under cooked fries. Success is a feeling of weightlessness where there is self made happiness.
I’m gonna keep working with artist in my area. I have a bunch of new artists with me that will be headlines with me not before long. I plan to bring a lot of them wit me.
