‘Alexander McQueen’ is the fire debut single from UK rapper Kansah. Inspired by the branding of designer Alexander McQueen, Kansah saw this as the perfect subject to launch his exciting rebrand and new project.
Written while he was studying for his Law Masters, Kansah travelled to London to record this track. Describing the process as “seamless”, ‘Alexander McQueen’ captures everything that Kansah is about – slick, highly produced and edgy.
An uplifting trap style song, “Alexander McQueen” explores a new side of the profanity-free rapper. Slower and more laid back than his usual club beat, “Alexander McQueen” maintains a steady rap flow set against a jazzy trap musical background.
‘Alexander McQueen’ is Kansah’s debut release under this stage name, but make no mistake, he is no stranger to the music industry. Rapping and writing since the age of 12, Kansah has songs that were written and recorded in LA that are yet to be released. After taking a hiatus from social media to undertake a voyage of self-discovery, Kansah is back with a new image and a new sound, and we can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!
