Trei Edwvrd is an up-and-coming independent artist from Chase City, Virginia. Trei Edwvrd has always been a student of music and could spend weeks just listening to different artists and genres to analyze the rhyme patterns and everything about their hits. One of his favorite things to do in music is analyze other artists and see what makes them great.
He especially finds this entertaining for artists such as Eminem, Wu-Tang, GZA, and Tupac because their styles are nothing like any other artists. Their music is poetry. Trei Edwvrd took music seriously in late 2019 and has been on the up since. He takes inspiration from many different artists but would give anything to have been able to work with Mac Miller. As far as current artists go, he has a strong connection with Rod Wave, Kehlani, Lucky Daye, Pink Sweat$, J. Cole, Drake, and Cordae.
Trei Edwvrd has experienced a lot of success within his music career, but he believes his greatest achievement has been surpassing 100,000 streams as an independent artist. When making music he wants his fans to know that they have an outlet. That they do not have to hold everything in all the time. When Trei Edwvrd’s songs pop up, he wants them to feel they can have an out-of-body experience and feel what he is saying. He wants his fans to know that he feels the listener’s pain and understands them.
He is dropping his second album titled “Heartless Desires” on June 3rd. He also plans on releasing a string of singles every month after this release.
