The Future’s Looking Bright For Artist and Producer RGM150

RGM150, born Rene Martinez, hails from Jamaica Queens, NYC, and brings his unique flair and hard work mentality to the scene. Previously performing under the stage name Type-R Dibiasi, he found early success through his singles which earned placements on national and statewide mixtape circuits. His reign as Type-R Dibiasi ended in 2009 with the release of his single “Million Dollar Man” exclusively on MySpace.

Though he eventually made his way back to recording music at the onset of the pandemic, RGM150 knows better than anyone the trials and tribulations you face as an independent artist trying to make it big in the industry. Because of this, he felt compelled to help out artists himself with the knowledge and wisdom he’s gained from his years in the industry. He formed Hoolie Nation, a label and publishing company with fellow artist G.ame O.ver, which has brought them both international fame and recognition.

Keeping his vision on the future, RGM150 has a slate of releases planned for the coming year. He is set to drop multiple mixtape projects which will introduce his newly-signed artists like Chunky, FW-Deem, and EM-Swish, all artists that he feels have the real, raw talent that needs to be showcased to the masses. RGM150 has its eyes on the international scene, and fans can expect global expansion efforts in the coming year for RGM150 and Hoolie Nation.
