British rapper, Strategy KI has been dominating the first-half of this year, with many new singles including; Spot The Difference, That’s Just Tips (Ft. T-Pain x Simple Life), Life Of A Trapper and now, KI has just released a summer anthem entitled With The Weather. This hard hitting UK Garage song is a must to have on your favourite playlist this summer!
With these new releases, he has clearly demonstrated his versatility, with different musical genres ranging from Rap, UK Drill, EDM, R&B and Afro-swing.
He tells a story through his songs, allowing listeners to gain a deeper understanding of his experiences and life. Strategy KI has been a prime participant within the UK music scene, with his cold and unfiltered sound. This actual expression landed his track ‘Get This’ a placement inside the Netflix original film ‘The Beast’.
With the Weather has been getting the listeners attention on BBC introducing (Radio 1). The song has reached over 10K streams on Spotify within its first week of release. This new single is a UKG remix of ‘Solid Gold’ by British artist PNAU.
This year Strategy KI and the rest of the ESC team have been smashing out remix tracks with songs like ‘Life Of A Trapper’ (which is a remix of ‘Let It Go’ by James Bay), and the coming single entitled ‘7 Days’ (which is a UK Drill remix to the original song ‘7 Days’ by British artist Craig David).
Reuben Leighton Kennedy, Best known as Strategy KI, was born on 05/11/1992, Southend (Essex) United Kingdom. He is of mixed British and Caribbean heritage. He relocated to Brighton (East Sussex) United Kingdom in 2002 after spending several years living in Spain with his mother. During their time in Spain, they would often travel around Morocco and West-Africa.
Having done a lot of travelling around Europe, North and West-Africa, KI discovered many different cultures and musical styles. Today, we can clearing hear the influences that he has had from a young-age, which has sharped his musical abilities, allowing him to flow so versatile on any beat given to him.
Strategy KI is the CEO and Co-Founder of Immortal Mixed.It (formally known as Immortal Music Records), in association with Dittomusic. He has recently just launched a Media Film Company entitled ‘A Film By Immortal’. Who knows what he will do next.
