With no familial background in music, JaY JaMaL’s love affair with melodies and beats blossomed of his own accord from a young age, fueled by a relentless curiosity and an insatiable hunger for self-expression. It was in the fourth or fifth grade that he first dipped his toes into the musical waters, fortuitously crossing paths with a music composer from his own hometown (Kasi). From that moment on, there was no turning back.

For over a decade, JaY JaMaL honed his craft as a house music aficionado and DJ, immersing himself in the pulsating rhythms of the industry. But it wasn’t until he made the audacious decision to step into the spotlight as a singer that his true artistic identity began to take shape.
