SN33D’s journey into the world of music is a deeply personal one. He first discovered his passion for music in high school, where he helped his friends and cousins with their own projects. But it was the tragic loss of his cousin Boogie that ultimately inspired him to start creating music himself.
“Me and my cousin Boogie used to record on the iPad 24/7,” SN33D remembers. “Then he got shot and killed, and I stopped making music. But a few months ago, I just felt the urge to make a song. As soon as I started recording, I felt Boogie in the room with me! From that time till now, I make music and I love it. It feels like Boogie is with me still. I can feel him every time I’m in the studio.”
This sense of connection and purpose is what drives SN33D’s music. His songs are a reflection of his personality – playful, honest, and full of a desire to uplift others. “I’m one of the only people I know that loves everybody on this planet,” he says. “I want to see everybody doing good. I look out for everybody, even when I know I shouldn’t. I hate seeing people down bad… especially since that’s all I know. I’m going through so much, but as long as I can make somebody else smile and make their day, then I’ll be good. I want to make music to help people. Yes, of course because I love it, but I want to help out everybody! Especially kids in need!”
SN33D’s music is a unique blend of serious and goofy, reflecting his real-life experiences and his determination to find the bright side. “In my songs, I rap about what I’m going through in a playful way, to show people that there is still a light for us,” he explains. “God is gonna treat us right.”
As for what’s next, SN33D has big plans. “I plan on taking my music to the next level,” he says. “I plan on locking in with y’all for life. I want to help y’all out just like y’all are doing for me. There are so many achievements I want, so it’s hard to point out one. But I definitely want to be one of the biggest artists. I’m not cocky, so I’m not going to say I want to be bigger than Drake, but I definitely want to go crazy. I want the world to know me. I want to help the world out.”
SN33D already has a few songs out, and he’s eager to learn more about promoting his music and building a fan base. “I really want to promote all my clips on Instagram, to get a nice fan base,” he says. “But honestly, that’s a question I have for you. What do you think we should promote?”
