The Konnichiwa follow-up debuts May 31.
Today, 28 April 2019: Skepta took to Instagram to announce that his next studio album will be arriving May 31. The rapper revealed the title of the album, Ignorance Is Bliss as well as its accompanying cover art.
The new project “Ignorance Is Bliss” follows his 2016 award-winning album Konnichiwa, which won the Mercury Prize.
fans thought the name of the project would be titled, SK Level, but Skepta revealed earlier this month that he would be changing it.
“A message to say I love you all, I’ve been working hard and I’m more focused than ever. Changed my album title cos #SkLEVEL is a 2018 pattern. New year, new name,” he wrote.
In 2017, Skepta released his Vicious EP, which featured guest appearances from Lil B, A$AP Rocky, Section Boyz and more.
