Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Roger Alexander owns a prestigious production company known as “AlphaMale Visuals.” This company was established by Roger in 2010 and has worked on hundreds of projects over the years that have garnered him much critical praise and success. Roger’s passion for music and filmmaking drove him to take this initiative and establish his brand to help artists better engage the fanbase.
“My first passion was music,” Roger Alexander said in a recent interview. “In high school and college, I was rapping & singing mixtapes and making beats for fun. At the same time I was creating skits and comedy videos to promote for the events that my fraternity was hosting in college,(Alpha Phi Alpha).”
“In the process of creating these videos I realize my talent in filmmaking,” he continued. “Once I graduated, I took the safe route and started a corporate job. In corporate America I could no longer pursue my hobby in hip-hop. But shooting music videos seemed to be the perfect marriage between my passion for hip hop and my talent for filmmaking. So I started my company in 2010 to create music videos, and have been building ever since!”
This self-made entrepreneur had no formal training or education and learned everything through his phenomenal work ethic and dedication. It is truly inspirational how Roger went from working 60 hours a week on a corporate job to helping Music Labels create some of the most engaging music videos on the internet.
