Rising Colombian artist GoldPreci Releases debut EP 'Elephant Gold'

‘Elephant Gold’ is the debut EP from Colombian artist GoldPreci. A collaboration with some of the best artists in GoldPreci’s home of Cartagena, Colombia, ‘Elephant Gold’ is the culmination of two years of hard work. This album was inspired by the art of collaboration, and the Cartagena music scene. Delivering his message of passionate love for music and art, GoldPreci showcases everything Cartagena has to offer.

The dreamy record features 6 tracks, each painted with colorful melodies and vibrant, kaleidoscopic production.  “Cuando Me Quieras Ver” blossoms from simple, warm keys into an anthemic chorus driven by a gritty bass-line, and embellished with spritely synths. “Dime Si Te Vas” immediately catches listeners attention with a beautifully textured, percussive production.

The colombian artist has made a name for himself with his Tropical Underground fusion rap that perfectly brings together all aspects of his identity. GoldPreci started out in local rap groups when he was young, before starting to produce his own tracks in 2017.

These tracks were never released, and he bided his time until bursting onto the scene in 2020 with tracks like ‘Se jodio’ and ‘Subete’. ‘Elephant Gold’ is his debut EP and the start of an exciting new chapter for this artist. Take a listen below.
