Rick Ross says a year-long wait for a pricey pair of Hermès crocodile sandals ended with a refund after he publicly called out the luxury house in Miami.
Rick Ross has taken his frustration with Hermès public, claiming a pair of crocodile sandals he paid roughly $12,000 for never arrived after more than a year. According to Complex, the rapper visited a Hermès location in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood on Wednesday and documented his complaint on camera.
Ross said he had already paid for the footwear but was still waiting on the order, questioning how the situation had been allowed to drag on for so long. “Hermès, I got my eye on you. This ain’t the way to go, baby,” he said while addressing the brand directly.
The Maybach Music Group founder made clear that he was not asking for another product in place of the sandals. Instead, he wanted his money back, telling Hermès, “Rozay just want a refund, Hermès.” The complaint quickly circulated online after clips of his comments were reposted across social media.

Ross’ public pressure appears to have produced a result. Complex reported that a subsequent Instagram video showed that Hermès ultimately issued him a refund, bringing the dispute over the undelivered sandals to an apparent close.
The episode fits neatly into Ross’ long-running public image as one of hip-hop’s most outspoken luxury enthusiasts, where designer fashion, exotic materials and big-ticket purchases regularly form part of his larger-than-life persona. This time, however, the flex became a customer-service complaint, with Ross using his platform to question why a purchase at that price point had remained unresolved for more than a year.
Hermès has faced broader attention over its sales practices in recent years, including litigation tied to how customers gain access to some of its most coveted products. Ross’ situation is separate from those disputes, but his complaint adds another highly visible customer experience to the conversation around the French luxury brand.
