Residing Elsewhere has finally released his hard drive to the world. His most recent project “Dellwood Demos” transports us back to those better summer days when we were younger. But now, since all we can do is reminisce about those times as we drive down a scenic highway, Residing Elsewhere has created a soundtrack for exactly that purpose.
Described by the man himself as a “perfectly imperfect demo tape,” the 13-track effort is the result of settling down in one place — a special place, at that — and getting to work. That special place was his personal creative oasis tucked into the Boulder, Colorado foothills.
“There were no distractions, [which] is exactly what I needed to put this together,” Residing Elsewhere said.
“Dellwood Demos” allows the Iowa City, Iowa native to flex his creative muscles; the entire project was written, produced, mixed and engineered by the man himself, showing that his skills extend far beyond the booth.
Speaking of extended skill sets, Residing Elsewhere is also working on a documentary accompanying the “Dellwood” project that shows exclusive footage of his creative process. If that’s not enough, he’s a music manager too, and his top priority for the immediate future is working on promotion of the artists he manages, and himself too.
It’s hard to juggle so many aspects of the creative process, yet Residing Elsewhere does it with ease. There aren’t many other creatives out there like this one, so get in tune now before he makes it big.
