R&B and Hip-Hop Artist J Royale Is One-To-Watch

J Royale whose real name is Pierre McKinney Jr is an R&B singer with hip hop and trap style. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but moved to North Memphis, Tennessee at the age of one. By the age of eight, he had already developed a love for music and singing. He started developing his own style by listening to artists like Usher, K-CI & Jojo, Brian McKnight, and many more. As he got older and realized how music has changed, he tailored his sound to artists like August Alsina, Johnta Austin, Miguel, and many others.

By the age of 18, he took a leap of faith and pursued his passion for music, he became a ghostwriter working in the background with many popular musicians. Throughout the years he has managed to keep his momentum in the music industry by writing for others.

In 2020 he decided to break out as an upcoming artist on his own. Since then, he has done live performances opening up for artists such as YFN Lucci, Stunna4vegas, Morray, Naughty by Nature, Moneybagg Yo, Moneymu, Pooh Sheisty, Jhery Robinson (Tech Nine artist). His hit songs are “sex lullaby,” “she got that” “Over me,” as well his newest single, “strung out.” All of which have been very successful and have gained him more momentum in a short space of time.

He currently has a new single, “Next 2 U,” on the way and will be dropping on all platforms on May 6th with his full album “Shut It Down” dropping on May 20th. He will be doing a show in Cincinnati on April 30th to help gain momentum on his new album before it releases and will be also doing an interview with iHeartRadio radio on May 13th in Chicago to promote it as well. He plans to do a live performance in Florida sometime during the upcoming summer as well to bring more attention to the new summer vibe music he is releasing soon.
