Papi JD is an on the rise recording artist from Detroit, Michigan. His father was the one who got him interested in music. His dad used to rap with his uncles and it played a key role in Papi JD’s infatuation with music.
creating is a gateway for him to vent and be free from all of the negativity that plagues the world. In 2018 after his fathers passing he began to take music more seriously as a career. He dropped his debut album under his own label jdentertainment & Interscope Records titled “JD Speaks”. Interscope helped fund the project, but ultimately that deal flunked. Currently he is marketing his latest single “ I’m Back”. The song has already accumulated well over 6,000 streams and counting.
Although he is marketing other content, he is also working on dropping an EP to release in April titled “I’m back”. However this EP has 7 tracks and shows his tenacity, talent and consistency as an artist.
Soon after releasing this project he will be starting on another new album titled “Key To The City” which won’t be released until later this summer. Papi JD is here to stay and shows that by staying consistent for his fanbase. His education and industry intelligence will definitely take him far within the music industry.
