Noah Bouchard has unveiled his highly anticipated debut album Love Of My Life. After months of building expectancy with singles ‘Came Close’, ‘Swan Song’ and ‘Sometimes’, the full project is now ready to be released into the world. Love Of My Life is Noah’s most ambitious project yet, seeing the artist delve into his process of self-development, taking on the highs and lows with equal levels of authenticity.
The production is expansive and vivid, painting incredible pictures around Noah’s poetic lyricism and refined delivery—tapestries of gentle lo-fi, empowered UK hip-hop and glassy jazz feed into heartfelt themes. The project also features performances from Hemes, Zéra, Minas, KING, Elina Lee and Harry Jowett, all bringing subtle revealings of their personal experience to the music. Overall, the album provides a milestone for Noah’s career, enchanting audiences with a unique and poignant approach to writing.
Noah speaks about how the release has become a personal milestone, sharing, “Love Of My Life is my debut album, the product of over 3 years of work and encapsulates the story of how I learned to love my life. I wanted to give myself and my story as openly and intimately as possible with this project, removing any ego or fear to provide an honest account of my thoughts and experiences. As a naturally introverted person, I’ve often struggled to share my thoughts and feelings with others, but I’ve felt the impact of doing this with my closest friends first hand and I’m hoping this project will encourage other people who are struggling to do the same.”
After debuting in 2018, Noah Bouchard has been on a consistent upward journey to realise his dreams. The following years have entailed several EPs, including collaborative efforts as part of the duo Salad Saladson alongside Volcano Szn. The Salad Saladson project went on to sell out two intimate headline shows in both London and Cardiff, whilst Noah’s solo live performances have seen him on the stages of BBC6 Music Fringe Festival, National Lottery’s #ReviveLive Tour, Hub Festival and Focus Wales Festival.
Garnering attention from radio tastemakers at BBC Radio 1xtra and BBC Radio Wales, earning multiple Spotify playlist placements and tipped by the likes of Wordplay, Noctis and Ministry of Sound, Noah has continued to expand his ambitions with each new release.
Love Of My Life emerges as a statement of intent for 2024 and beyond, after previous selection for Youth Music’s Next Generation Fund and BBC Wales Horizons Launchpad, Noah is as committed as ever, solidified by the launch of new creative brand, This Old Sky.
