During Amber Guyger’s trial, Joshua Brown took the stand to testify. A few days later, Brown was shot and killed outside of his apartment complex.
Nicki responded to a person stating that Brown sacrificed his life on the witness stand while the Botham family publicly forgave Guyger for killing their loved one.
She called it a “slap in the face” to Brown, who testified about what he heard on the night of September 6, 2018, when Jean was killed.
“I wonder if they were hugging on him after he got off that stand the way they were all boo hoo cryin, hugging on the murderer,” Mrs. Petty wrote on Twitter. “Talk about a slap in the face. Go hug on his fatherless child now. He should’ve let y’all suffer & minded his business. This is heartbreaking. RIP.”
