As Bobby Shmurda prepares for his return to the free world, new photos of the Brooklyn rapper have surfaced showing Bobby with some female friends that paid him a visit.
According to previous reports, Shmurda is scheduled to be released from prison sometime this year.
Shmurda was arrested in December 2014 outside Manhattan’s Quad Recording Studios. The rapper was accused of leading Crips-offshoot street gang GS9, which police said was responsible for several shootings and one murder.
Bobby was officially sentenced to seven years in prison in Manhattan Supreme Court (Oct. 19, 2016). The sentence comes five weeks after accepting a deal to plead guilty to 4th-degree conspiracy to criminally possess a weapon and 2nd-degree criminal weapons possession, which concurrently carry a seven-year sentence.
