“Lately, we have been seeing a bunch of TikTok’s with kids singing out, “You did me wrong!” after doing our research we have learned it comes from a viral song titled “Did Me Wrong” by North Carolina artist Baby C.
Baby C was born and raised in a small city in North Carolina called Roxboro. The city is one of the poorest in North Carolina. Baby C grew up in the church and even sang in choir. At nine years old he learned that his mother had cancer, this traumatized him. It would be a struggle for Baby C growing up.
While still young the NC native accepted his situation and vowed to make the best of it. “My family (is) who I do it for”, Baby C explains.
Baby C is now 20 years old and has two children who he showcases often on Instagram live. His energy on the track is nothing less than remarkable. His performance skills are nothing short of electrifying.
In 2020 he went on a multi city tour with Hip Hop Since 1987 and Coaltion DJ’s. This same year he released three smashing hits “Drop”, “Off The Top” and “Beam”. However, in September 2021 Baby C caught fir after uploading a 15 second clip singing on the elevator; it wasn’t long before his fan base grew in a major way.
To date, the clip has nearly 700,000 views, over 45,000 likes and a multitude of people singing along with the lyrics on the internet, In the video he presents a voice that’s both rugged and sensational.
