Mike Teknology: A Journey of Redemption Through Music

Hailing from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with roots in the New Orleans area, Mike Teknology’s story is one of resilience and passion. His journey into music started in 2016, but it wasn’t until 2018—after a significant personal transformation in getting sober—that he began pursuing music professionally. With music in his DNA, inspired by his father, a musician and songwriter, Mike has always had an inherent connection to the art form. It became more than just a passion; it became his path forward.

Mike Teknology’s influences span a diverse range, from the legendary 2Pac, Nas, Big Pun, and Eminem, to the fusion sounds of Sublime. These icons have shaped his sound, which blends the rawness of hip-hop with his own unique perspective. While he doesn’t yet play instruments, Mike is in the process of learning how to make beats, with the goal of becoming a producer to further enhance his creative output.

The music industry, however, has been full of ups and downs for Mike. Showcasing his talent in various tri-state area events and local shows, he found his momentum stalled by the COVID-19 pandemic. But instead of slowing down, Mike shifted his focus to songwriting. Over the years, he’s collaborated with some remarkable local talents, including producer Big City, Red McFly, and Sony recording artist D. Collins. He’s recorded two full albums and several singles, and shot six music videos, all of which are available on his YouTube channel (@Miketeknology). His latest release, “Get a Bag,” featuring Jada B, is a testament to his talent and dedication, with the music video streaming on YouTube and VEVO.

One of the most touching moments of Mike’s career came when a fan reached out to share how much his music had impacted them, calling him a “profit.” That deep connection with his audience drives Mike to keep pushing forward, creating music that resonates on a deeper level.

Currently, Mike Teknology is hard at work on his next album, Caffeine and Weed, set for release in early 2025. In the meantime, his single “Get a Bag” is available across all streaming platforms, and fans can expect another single to drop before the album’s release.

For those in the Pennsylvania area, Mike has an upcoming performance on September 22 at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, PA, at 4 pm, a show that promises to showcase his growth and continued dedication to his craft.
