When you think of dirty grimey beats, you might think of East Coast hip hop. Well a new source of sinister beats is surfacing from Arizona. A producer by the name of Manny Megz has jumped into the scene with no hesitation. It being the young bull’s second year producing.. he already has names like Ghostface Killah and Westside Gunn under his belt.
Manny was discovered by the fly lyricist “ HusKing Pin”, also known as “WAVO”. Hus featured Megz’s production on his “THREESOME3” Album. Manny Produced “Creep” and one of my favorites, “Price of Love”. His dusty drums and ears for samples is what sets him apart from the crowd. He has been working with Hus very close and they seem to have an incredible musical chemistry.
Since the threesome project, Hus and Manny have released about 5 legendary remixes on streaming platforms. Megz taps into a different side of production on each one and seems to be extremely versatile. We look forward to hearing from not only these to, but what Manny Megz has to offer in the future with other great artists.
